Prove que o limite a seguir é 1/2:
lim\(\lim_{x->1}\frac{\sqrt{x}-1}{x-1}\)
18 Oct 2015, 22:12
Note que \(\frac{\sqrt{x} -1}{x-1} = \frac{1}{\sqrt{x} + 1}\) , e
\(\frac{1}{\sqrt{x} + 1} - \frac{1}{2} = \frac{2 - \sqrt{x} -1 }{2(\sqrt{x} + 1)} = \frac{1 - \sqrt{x}}{2(\sqrt{x} + 1} = \frac{1 -x }{2(\sqrt{x} +1)^2 }\) .
Portanto , \(| \frac{\sqrt{x} -1}{x-1} - \frac{1}{2} | = \frac{1}{2} \cdot |x-1| \cdot \frac{1}{(\sqrt{x} +1)^2}\) .
Veja também que para quaisquer \(x \geq 0 : \frac{1}{(\sqrt{x} +1)^2} \leq 1\) (pq ?? )
Temos assim p/ todo \(x \geq 0 , x \neq 1\)
\(\frac{\sqrt{x} -1}{x-1} - \frac{1}{2} | \leq \frac{1}{2} |x-1|\)
Tente concluir ...
