Estou iniando em cálculo integral favor me ajudar:
A derivada direcional da função \(f(x,y) = 2y e^x\) em \(P(0,4)\) na direção do vetor \(v = 3i - 2j\) é:
O gabarito dá como resposta: \(\frac{20}{\sqrt13}\)

Inicialmente, devemos calcular o Gradiente no ponto P.
\(\bigtriangledown f(x,y) = \frac{\partial f}{\partial x}i + \frac{\partial f}{\partial y}j\)
Como \(f(x,y) = 2ye^x\), temos:
\(\frac{\partial f}{\partial x} = 2ye^x\)
e
\(\frac{\partial f}{\partial y} = 2e^x\)
Daí,
\(\bigtriangledown f(x,y) = 2ye^xi + 2e^xj\)
\(\bigtriangledown f(0,4) = 8i + 2j\)
Pastorpj,
note que v não é um vetor unitário, então:
\(u = \frac{v}{|v|} ====> u = \frac{3}{\sqrt{13}}i - \frac{2}{\sqrt{13}}j\)
Por fim, temos que
\(D_uf(x,y) = \bigtriangledown f(x,y) . u\)
\(D_uf(0,4) = (8i + 2j).\left(\frac{3}{\sqrt{13}}i - \frac{2}{\sqrt{13}}j\right)\)
\(D_uf(0,4) = \left(\frac{24}{\sqrt{13}}i - \frac{4}{\sqrt{13}}j\right)\)
\(D_uf(0,4) = \frac{20}{\sqrt{13}}\)
Espero ter ajudado!!
Comente qualquer dúvida.
